Clean Water Fund Grants

Funds are used for water management activities such as monitoring, watershed characterization and scientific study, planning, and on-the-ground restoration and protection activities.

Conservation Delivery Grants

Rose Moore: Environmental Services Support Tech. for Conservation Delivery Grants

Funds are used for administrative and operational costs include paying for the costs of employing staff, office space, transportation, postage and utilities, and supervisors’ compensation and expenses.

State Cost Share Grants

Funds are used to share the cost with the landowner of systems or practices for erosion control, sedimentation control, or water quality improvements that are designed to protect and improve soil and water resources.

Natural Resource Block Grant (NRBG)

Rose Moore: Environmental Services Support Tech. for NRB Grant

Funds are used to implement programs to protect and improve water resources, such as failing septic systems, wetland conservation and shoreland restoration across the county.

Beltrami Keep It Clean (KIC)

Kali Lawver: Aquatic Invasive Species Specialist for Beltrami KIC

Funds cover staff expenses to attend community events, enter our mobile billboard or fish house in local parades, and other ice fishing derbies around the area to further spread the message of Keep It Clean. Also working with local resorts on Upper Red Lake to find solutions to the fish house waste issue that is growing.

Buffer Law Implementation - funding and assistance for buffer law implementation. 

​Soil Health Supplemental Staffing - to create additional local points of contact to work with landowners on increasing utilization of soil health practices and systems that advance the principles of soil health.
