Free Hands-on Raingarden Workshop

Clearwater SWCD is hosting a hands-on raingarden workshop in Clearbrook from 9 am to 4 pm Thursday 19 June. Participants will help to install a raingarden at the Clearbrook Good Samaritan Center and should arrive ready to assist with preparation, layout, and planting. There is no cost for the workshop and lunch will be provided to program participants. For more information email Wade Robinsion or call 218.694.6845.

Shoreland Rule Open House in Bemidji

The Minnesota DNR will be hosting a series of public meetings around the state regarding revisions of Shoreland Rules. The Bemidji session will be held from 6:30-9:00 pm on 24 June at Bemidji High School (see this Adobe pdf flyer for details). For additional background information visit the DNR's Shoreland Rules Update Page. BCLARA and Beltrami SWCD will be there and will have resources available.
